The P Zero Race TLR RS is the top-tier tyre in Pirelli's P Zero Race road racing range, made in Italy at Pirelli's Milan production facility. It uses Pirelli's SmartEVO2 compound, a motorsport-derived rubber blend engineered to improve grip and handling in both dry and wet conditions while lowering rolling resistance. The tyre is built on Pirelli's patented SpeedCORE tubeless-ready casing, a thin, air-tight layer of rubber infused with aramid particles that improves air retention, mechanical strength and flexibility, allowing the casing to be lighter than a standard tubeless construction without sacrificing durability.
This is a racing-oriented tyre optimised for outright speed and grip rather than maximum puncture protection or longevity, making it best suited to racing and performance training rather than everyday, high-mileage riding. It is tubeless-ready and can also be run with an inner tube.
