Teflon Coated Brake/Shifter Cable

Description
A low-friction inner cable for smoother braking and shifting, sold by type and length to match your setup. The stainless steel core is coated with a slick Teflon (PTFE) finish, cutting down friction inside the housing for a lighter lever feel and more precise shifting. The cable is pre-stretched before coating, which reduces stretch after installation so braking stays responsive and shifting stays accurate for longer. Suitable for general-purpose mountain bikes, road bikes, and folding bikes.

Note: as with any coated cable, light surface wear on the black coating may appear over time at points where it passes through the housing or guides. This is cosmetic and does not affect the strength or performance of the stainless steel core underneath.
